Recently, the Kweight project department in Shenzhen received good news that the million kilowatt level thermal power plant DC project under their responsibility was successfully delivered and accepted on December 13, 2019.

After completing multiple thermal power plant projects in Hubei, Shenzhen Kweight has collaborated with Guangxi's only thermal power plant with a capacity of over one million kilowatts to serve national key projects. It is reported that there are currently three units with a total installed capacity of 1.33 million kilowatts (two 330000 kilowatt units and one 670000 kilowatt unit). The second 670000 kilowatt unit in the second phase has been approved by the National Development and Reform Commission and is expected to start construction by the end of the year, with a total installed capacity of 2 million kilowatts. The construction of this project will provide stable energy security for the main areas of Guangxi.

All projects use Shenzhen Kweight maintenance free lead-acid batteries, models KL2-400, KL2-600, KL2-1800, which have the advantages of safe and reliable sealing, low internal resistance, low self discharge rate, and high sealing reaction efficiency. They are widely used in communication systems, power systems, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and other fields.
