Project Background

The Wuzhong Banner Maintenance and Inspection Center Station is located in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, which belongs to arid and desertified grasslands. With abundant wind and solar energy resources, it is an excellent base for developing green energy.

The Wuzhong Banner Maintenance and Inspection Center Station was officially established on May 4, 2018, with an annual cumulative power generation of 22591 kWh. The office of the center station is located in the Wuzhong Banner Wind and Power Plant, responsible for commanding the overall work of Urad Banner and coordinating internal and external business. It is the maintenance and inspection center station management center of Wuzhong Banner, which governs a wind and solar power plant in Urad Zhongqi within the scope of Bayannur City. The total installed capacity is 168.5MW, including 132 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 148.5MW, including three different models. They are 66 750kW fixed slurry and three-phase asynchronous generator sets produced by Xinjiang Goldwind Technology Co., Ltd. in the first phase. The project was put into operation for power generation in February 2008; The 33 1500kW direct drive permanent magnet synchronous generator sets produced by Xinjiang Goldwind Technology Co., Ltd. in Phase II were put into operation for power generation in November 2010; The 33 1500kW doubly fed asynchronous generator sets produced by Dongfang Turbine Co., Ltd. of Phase III Dongfang Electric Group were put into operation for power generation in December 2012. The photovoltaic capacity is 20MW, using monocrystalline silicon solar cell modules. 40 inverters are selected from centralized inverters produced by Xuji Group Co., Ltd. The project was put into operation for power generation in April 2013.

The lead-acid battery for the DC system of the booster station of the Wuzhongqi Wind and Solar Power Station of State Power Investment Corporation was purchased in 2007 with a design life of 8 years. It has been in operation for a total of 12 years. Currently, the operating capacity and discharge curve of the battery pack do not meet the regulations and on-site requirements and need to be replaced as a whole.

All projects use Kweight 2V300AH batteries, which are fixed, high-capacity, long-life valve regulated maintenance free lead-acid batteries specially developed and designed for large electrical equipment; Adopting high-performance alloy casting, the grid has excellent corrosion resistance and improves the deep discharge performance of the battery; Special pole sealing technology can prevent electrolyte leakage; The positive electrode plate of the battery adopts a special formula, which enables the battery to have good acceptance performance during charging. Mainly used in electricity UPS、 Energy storage, chemical industry and other fields. Being able to operate stably in extreme environments is one of the excellent performances of power equipment such as Kweight batteries and UPS, and has been fully validated in long-term service projects.
